Begin with Blessings

بسم الله الرحمان الرحيم
In the Name of Allah the Most Gracious and the Most Merciful

بسم الله الرحمان الرحيم

In the Name of Allah the Most Gracious and the Most Merciful

بسم الله الرحمان الرحيم

In the Name of Allah the Most Gracious and the Most Merciful

A simple advice and reminder for starting the day.

Is to start it by saying, "بسم الله الرحمان الرحيم (Bismilla-hirrahmanir-rahim)" for according to Tafseer Ibnu Kathir:

"According to the word of the Prophet, "Any activity not begun with the word 'Bismilla-hirrahmanir-rahim (In the name of Allah, the Beneficient, the Merciful)' is severed/cut (from its blessings)."

Before reading a book, say "Bismilla-hirrahmanir-rahim". Insya-Allah, Allah will allow us to acquire the knowledge within.

Before combing your hair, say "Bismilla-hirrahmanir-rahim", Insya-Allah, your hair will look smooth and neat.

Before taking your breakfast, say "Bismilla-hirrahmanir-rahim", then recite the prayer/du`a before eating.
Insya-Allah, the food will become useful energy to jumpstart your day.

So, my dear brothers and sisters in Islam (smiles), let us enjoy the bountiful blessings of Allah Taala, simply by beginning the day, and starting any activity with one verse.

Just one verse, in return for a mountain of blessings (rahmah & barakah). Subhanallah, what an unbalanced equation! Really, who is the Most Beneficient and the Most Merciful?
