Hideous Uses of a Bag

بسم الله الرحمان الرحيم
In the Name of Allah the Most Gracious and the Most Merciful

To start a hideous post with a phrase so pure, is unthinkable.

But then, to not begin your activity with "bismillah" (which means 'in the name of Allah), you will lose the intended blessings for said activity.

Though Allah is the Most Gracious and the Most Merciful, some of His creations have proven to be..merciless.

And so I present to you some of the hideous and heinous modern day usage of a bag:

1. Stuffing the body of a dead girl

Nurin Jazlin, aged eight, was discovered dead in a gym bag on the morning of Sept 17th 2007 after being reported missing on 20th August the same year.

She was found naked, in a fetal position, with a cucumber and brinjal stuffed inside her genitals.

Investigations are still going on, but until now, her killer is still at large.

2. Concealing a healthy newborn

A healthy baby was left in a bag in front of a newspaper store in Terengganu yesterday. She was discovered by shop owner Rozlan at 6 am, who was shocked to find her in the travel bag, wrapped in a blue towel and wearing a diaper.

The baby girl was sent to hospital Sultanah Nur Zahirah for monitoring.

Humans are so advanced nowadays, to the extent of even thinking of transporting PEOPLE in BAGS. Dead and apparently, live ones too. Well, so much for creativity.

Personal feelings

A person who takes lives, deserves to be taken his or her life in return. That is the general law of Allah, as I understand whilst I read the Quran. (I may be wrong)

On the other hand, a person who did something wrong and now REALIZES that what she did was wrong, fear not. Truly repent, and Allah will surely forgive you, for He says in the Quran which means:

"Verily Allah does not forgive (the sin) of associating Him with another, and forgives the other sins besides that to whomsoever He pleases, and whoever associates anything with Allah, he devises indeed a great sin." (An-Nisa': 48)

"And ask forgiveness of Allah; surely Allah is Most Forgiving, Most Merciful." (An-Nisa': 106)

"And whoever does evil or acts unjustly to his soul, then asks forgiveness of Allah, he shall find Allah Most Forgiving, Most Merciful." (An-Nisa': 110)

"And whoever commits a sin, he only commits it against his own soul, and Allah is All-Knowing and Wise." (An-Nisa': 111)

My advice to those facing the same problems, read Surah an-Nisa'. As I understand it, we women are the ones who frequently suffer the injustice, right? (Men usually get away with it)

And I ask you, is it a coincidence, that the verses/ayat above came from the chapter in the Quran which means "women"?

Allah the All-Knowing, and Wise sent down this beautiful surah as a healing potion for the broken souls. Read the whole surah, from the 1st ayah until the very end. Read from the heart, and ask Allah for guidance. And I believe you will find, as I have, that Allah is very gentle, and Most Forgiving.

Wallahu`alam.
